A Message from Our Leader
Thank you for taking the time to learn more about Covenant Church St. Cloud, a strategic church plant in partnership with First Baptist Church Melbourne and the Southern Baptist Convention. For many years, the Lord has shaped my heart with a desire to see a healthy, gospel-centered church planted here in St. Cloud. I love this community deeply and long to see people discover the lasting joy found only in Jesus Christ. I am pleased to be serving the city of St. Cloud, Narcoossee, Harmony, Kissimmee, and the Orlando area.
Many of you know I served St. Cloud for years as a teacher, dean, and assistant principal, as well as in ministry through local church involvement, church planting, and international missions support. These experiences have strengthened my love for this city and my conviction that the gospel is our greatest need. We are committed to the authority of Scripture, the sovereignty of God in salvation, and the centrality of the gospel. At this stage, we are gathering through monthly public worship services and meeting weekly in a small group called Covenant Connection, where we grow together in prayer, Scripture, and community.
Looking ahead, we are prayerfully working toward the public launch of Covenant Church on Easter Sunday, March 28, 2027. Our desire is to see a church that faithfully proclaims Christ, forms disciples, and sends people into the world for God’s glory.
